I always found fascinating the space that surrounds me because of its ability to be an infinite number of things. It can have any kind of size, shape, color, location, and density, something that enables my imagination and creativity to expand. This was a key force in my constant experimentation with film, which has always been the way I convey who I am. From September 2020- to January 2022 I studied architecture at the University of Manchester. My decision to study architecture as a stepping-stone for becoming a filmmaker was influenced by the renowned director Robert Wilson who I met in June 2019 after his Oedipus production at the ancient theatre of Epidaurus. Our discussion regarding his studies in Architecture and Fine Art reinforced my idea that to develop a unique style in the field of Filmmaking, I should enhance my perception of space and deepen my understanding of how light affects it. Although I believe I have acquired this knowledge through the 14 months of my studies, my strict schedule did not allow me to produce films and for me, filmmaking is more than just a passion, it’s a way to express my thoughts and feelings.

ARCHIVING ALBERT
As part of Manchester Town Hall’s restoration project, MSA and Lendlease are proud to present Archiving Albert - an initiative to create accessible digital connections to the rich archive of the Albert’s Square collective heritage. We want to make sure that our urban development, artefact revival, and digital network not only caters to everyone who wants to explore the realms of Mancunian history, but enhances Albert Square’s role as one of Manchester City Centre’s most important and active event spaces.
My contribution was an interactive feature that goes with the QR code interface. This page allows visitors to understand and appreciate the surrounding historical context of Albert Square such as the statues (and the stories behind each), as well as identifying several Listed Buildings Grade I and II nearby. By clicking each statue or building you get an informative description.
Here is a GIF that illustrates the interactive interface I created:
Exploration of my Room Project
MoveSpace project
For this project, we had to design a pavilion based on a certain dance.
StopOver Project
This project required to unpack the idea of ‘home; and ‘house’. To
do this, I had to develop a narrative to describe the personality of
a character, their relationship with music and the connection both
of these have to your chosen site.
